NT Accelerates Installation of Emergency Communication System Nan Flood to Aid Flood Victims in Pua District, Nan Province

NT coordinated urgent assistance amid flooding in Pua District, Nan Province by installing internet, telephone services, and preparing radio communications to support officials coordinating aid to help residents overcome the flash flood crisis.

Colonel Sanphachai Huwanan, Chief Executive Officer of National Telecom Public Company Limited (NT), revealed that following heavy rain and flash floods in Pua District, Nan Province, NT promptly coordinated and provided assistance by installing internet systems and telephone numbers at the flood relief center located in the second-floor meeting room of the Pua District Office. This supports officials in coordinating various forms of assistance to local residents, aiming to ease hardships and be part of the effort to help people quickly overcome the crisis.

Additionally, NT prioritizes maintaining telecommunications and communication networks in the affected area by deploying a team to monitor the situation and prepare communication systems. This supports continuous communication for residents, government agencies, and officials conducting relief operations. NT has prepared one backup internet system and 50 DTRS handheld radios.

NT sends its support to the people of Nan and all those affected by the flooding. The company is committed to fully supporting and maintaining communication systems to help alleviate difficulties and enable all areas to return to normal as soon as possible.
