The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT), in cooperation with TikTok, is organizing TikTok LIVE Community Fest 2026, bringing together more than 300 creators to produce content in the Song Wat Road area, aiming to stimulate Thai tourism through social media.
Ms. Thapanee Kiatphaiboon, Governor of the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT), revealed that TAT has moved forward to join forces with the TikTok platform to organize the event “TikTok LIVE Community Fest 2026.” The event aims to drive tourism by harnessing the power of creator networks to share stories and the charm of Thailand through creative perspectives. This strategy aligns with the behavior of modern tourists who prefer to explore destinations through content based on real experiences. TikTok, as a digital platform, has a significant influence in connecting people worldwide. TAT is ready to use this opportunity to showcase Thailand's image across various dimensions, including arts and culture, tourist attractions, food, and contemporary lifestyle, to expand awareness and transform inspiration into actual travel bookings to experience Thailand firsthand.
Ms. Thapanee added that the event is held under the theme “Be Part of the Win” to celebrate success and highlight the power of the community behind growth. It brings together over 300 top live creators from Southeast Asia, Indonesia, the Philippines, Singapore, as well as the Caucasus and Central Asia regions to participate in a team rally at Song Wat Road. Participants will learn about the area's history, architecture, riverside lifestyle, and taste local cuisine before transforming their exclusive real-life experiences into creative content to share with their followers. This aims to inspire tourists to see, feel, and desire to travel there. Creators involved in the competition also have a chance to win travel packages in Thailand worth over 300,000 baht.
For this event, TAT is highly confident that collaborating with TikTok will be a significant step in connecting digital experiences to real travel and encouraging tourists worldwide to visit and generate continuous revenue for Thailand.
