Check Locations: MRTA Offers Free Parking at 9 Points Along BTS Lines from Today until 2 Oct 2026

The Mass Rapid Transit Authority (MRTA) is alleviating the troubles caused by heavy rain and flooding by opening nine park-and-ride buildings along three BTS lines. The public can park for free starting today until 2 Oct 2026 by showing proof to the staff.

MRTA opens free parking spaces to assist flood victims.

Mr. Siripong Angkasakulkiat, Deputy Minister of Transport and spokesperson for the Ministry of Transport, revealed that heavy rains in many areas have caused flooding problems and ongoing difficulties for the public. Therefore, the Ministry of Transport has assigned relevant agencies to promptly find ways to assist.

To ease public hardship as part of the rainy season response measures, the Mass Rapid Transit Authority of Thailand (MRTA) has opened its park-and-ride buildings for flood victims to park cars and motorcycles free of charge from today until Friday, 2 October 2026.

The public can park at MRTA park-and-ride buildings along three BTS lines at a total of nine locations as follows.

Blue Line (Chalerm Ratchamongkhon Line):

• Lat Phrao Station Park-and-Ride Building.
• Lak Song Station Park-and-Ride Building.

Purple Line (Chalong Ratchatham Line):

• Khlong Bang Phai Station Park-and-Ride Building.
• Bang Rak Noi Tha It Station Park-and-Ride Building.
• Sam Yaek Bang Yai Station Park-and-Ride Building.
• Nonthaburi 1 Intersection Station Park-and-Ride Building.

Green Line:

• Khlong Ban Ma Station Park-and-Ride Building.
• Yaek Kor Por Or Station Park-and-Ride Building.
• Khu Khot Station Park-and-Ride Building.

Conditions and procedures for requesting the right to use the parking.

Those wishing to use the free parking must prepare documents for safety and to prevent misuse: they must present photographic evidence of the flood situation along with proof of vehicle ownership to the staff at the building before parking each time.
