Thairath Group is preparing for a major prize draw of postcards predicting the UEFA Euro 2024 football finals results on 22 August 2024.
Thairath Group is ready for a grand prize draw worth over 10 million baht as part of the campaign "Cheer Football Loudly, Celebrate and Win Prizes Anytime, Anywhere" scheduled for 22 August 2024, after receiving over 61 million postcards predicting UEFA Euro 2024 results from Thailand Post on 13 August 2024.
Dr. Danan Supattapan, President and CEO of Thailand Post Co., Ltd., presided over the dispatch of the postcards sent nationwide by the public to participate in the prediction contest. Mr. Watchara Watcharaphol, Co-CEO of Thairath Online and Thairath TV, also received the postcards at Thailand Post headquarters in Lak Si district, Bangkok.
Of the 61 million postcards, 52.5 million are paper postcards, and 8.5 million are online postcards submitted via the Paotang app and Prompt Post. All entries have been thoroughly verified. Among them, over 34 million correctly predicted the "Spain national team," which will be included in the grand prize draw on the final day.
All postcards are securely stored at Thairath Group’s headquarters, a strictly controlled area guarded 24 hours a day to ensure transparency and fairness as in previous events.
On 22 August 2024, representatives from the Embassy of Spain in Thailand will chair the prize draw together with executives from Thairath Group and Thailand Post. Athletes, news anchors, and celebrities will also attend as witnesses.
The prizes to be drawn this time include 16 awards:
First Prize: Gold worth 6,500,000 baht – 1 award
Second Prize: Gold worth 620,000 baht – 2 awards
Third Prize: Gold worth 310,000 baht – 3 awards
Other prizes: Gold worth 60,000 baht – 10 awards
