A fire broke out at a warehouse storing luxury and supercars in Nonthaburi, where vehicles awaiting inspection and repair from a service center were kept. Fifty cars were damaged, with losses exceeding 190 million baht. The cause is suspected to be an electrical short circuit, and investigations are ongoing.
At 08:00 on 28 Nov 2025 GMT+7, Police Lieutenant Chitsanupong Yaoyod, Deputy Inspector (Investigation) of Chaiyapruek Police Station in Nonthaburi, received a report of a fire at a car warehouse of a company near Wat Yai Sawang Arom on Ratchaphruek Road, Om Kret Subdistrict, Pak Kret District, Nonthaburi. Relevant authorities were promptly dispatched to investigate and control the fire.
Upon arrival, the scene was a large car warehouse on about one rai of land, engulfed in intense flames. Firefighters from several areas brought three fire trucks to spray water and contain the blaze, taking more than one hour to bring the situation under control.
Investigations found that luxury cars and electric vehicles lined up inside the warehouse were all damaged by the fire, totaling about 50 vehicles, including five Porsches and 45 Teslas. The estimated damage is around 190 million baht. Additionally, one fire truck from the Om Kret Municipality was also damaged by the fire while firefighters were extinguishing flames inside the warehouse during the height of the blaze.
Investigations revealed that the warehouse was used to park and store customers' cars awaiting inspection and repair from a service center located about 500 meters away. Before the fire, it is believed that an electrical short circuit occurred inside the warehouse, causing flames to spread to the parked cars, which were completely destroyed. Authorities are continuing to assess the extent of the damage and determine the exact cause.
