Pattaya Fireworks Festival 2025 Spectacular, Hundreds of Thousands of Tourists Flock to Crowded Beach

Grand and spectacular "Pattaya Fireworks Festival 2025" Hundreds of thousands of tourists flocked to the crowded beach to watch the fireworks, opening with a spectacular show "Fireworks in Honor of Her Majesty the Queen Mother"

On 28 Nov 2025 GMT+7, reporters reported that at Pattaya Beach in Bang Lamung District, Chonburi Province, Mr. Narit Niramaiwong, Governor of Chonburi, together with Mr. Poramet Ngampichet, Mayor of Pattaya, and Mr. Wittaya Kunplome, Chairman of Chonburi Provincial Administrative Organization, jointly chaired the opening of the 2025 International Fireworks Festival (PATTAYA INTERNATIONAL FIREWORKS FESTIVAL 2025). The event was held under the theme "The Light of Eternal Loyalty," with various agencies participating, all dressed in black silk clothing, attending the ceremony in large numbers.

The atmosphere inside the event saw hundreds of thousands of Thai and foreign tourists arriving from the afternoon to secure seats, filling Pattaya Beach along a 3.2 km stretch densely with people.

This year, five countries participated in the fireworks display: Malaysia, Germany, Finland, the Philippines, and the United Kingdom. The highlight was a collaborative fireworks presentation between Thailand and Malaysia honoring Her Majesty Queen Sirikit, the Queen Mother, titled "Devoted Loyalty: Tribute to the Mother of the Land." This display drew enthusiastic applause and greatly impressed the tourists.

Additionally, the event featured a Khon performance honoring the Queen Mother titled "Raising the Battle: Rama Returns to the City," presented by the Bunditpatanasilpa Institute under the Ministry of Culture. Khon is a traditional art form preserved by the Queen Mother, who once said, "If no one watches, I will watch myself." The event omitted concert performances, instead featuring an orchestra playing royal anthems and compositions to commemorate the Queen Mother's graciousness.

Meanwhile, around the event area, Pattaya City arranged nearly 400 booths operated by local residents to serve tourists. For security, over 2,000 personnel from the Chonburi Provincial Police, EOD officers, administrative departments, Pattaya City officials, and volunteers managed traffic and safety throughout the event. The event is expected to generate economic activity exceeding 500 million baht.
