Nong Nooch Garden Invests Over 60 Million Baht in 3.5 MW Solar Rooftop for Solar-Powered Parking Lot

Nong Nooch Pattaya Garden has invested more than 60 million baht in a 3.5-megawatt solar rooftop system for a solar-powered parking lot, supporting green tourism, reducing carbon emissions, and providing electric vehicle charging stations.

On 29 Nov 2025 GMT+7, Nong Nooch Pattaya Garden announced its full commitment to becoming a green tourist destination by signing a contract to install a 3,503-kilowatt-peak solar rooftop power system, along with developing sustainable tourism facilities.

Kamphon Tansajja, Chairman of Nong Nooch Pattaya Garden, signed a turnkey contract to purchase solar rooftop power generation equipment totaling 3,503.00 kWp, valued at over 60 million baht. Nong Nooch Pattaya Garden is the investor and has assigned Iradian Solar Co., Ltd. to install and manage the energy system.

Kamphon Tansajja, Chairman of Nong Nooch Pattaya Garden, stated after signing the turnkey solar rooftop equipment contract that this project marks a significant step in advancing the garden’s eco-tourism policy and promoting environmental sustainability, with four main objectives:

1. Facility Development: Designing a "solar-powered parking lot" that not only provides shade and reduces heat for tourists’ cars but also enhances service convenience.

2. Electric Vehicle (EV) Support: Setting up dedicated battery charging stations for electric cars to accommodate the growing number of EV-using tourists, along with electric vehicle charging stations at Nong Nooch Garden.

3. Carbon Emission Reduction: This project concretely supports carbon credit reduction policies, aligning with global tourism trends that prioritize environmental care.

4. Increasing Alternative Energy Use: Utilizing clean solar energy to generate electricity within the garden reduces reliance on the main power grid, saves energy costs, and lowers the organization’s carbon footprint.

Nong Nooch Pattaya Garden has elevated its environmental conservation standards alongside comprehensive tourist services to become a green attraction focused on carbon reduction, ensuring a better environment for the future.
