
The Ministry of Education, in collaboration with the Office of the Vocational Education Commission, has set up 50 Fix It Centers to provide free repair services for electrical appliances and motorcycles damaged by the floods in Hat Yai. On 1 Dec 2025, due to the flooding situation in Hat Yai, Songkhla Province, many household items were severely damaged, including electrical appliances, motorcycles, and various machinery.
Dr. Narumon Pinyosinwat, Minister of Education, led the Office of the Vocational Education Commission to establish 50 Fix It Centers to repair electrical appliances, occupational equipment, machinery, and motorcycles damaged by the floods. This initiative helps reduce household expenses in a tangible way and supports people in resuming their livelihoods more quickly. Throughout the day, over 10,000 motorcycles damaged by the floods were brought in for service across the Hat Yai district.

For electrical appliances that have been submerged, it is advised not to plug them in to test before repair, as this could cause circuit damage and increase the risk that repairs cannot be made.
