Poh Teck Tung Foundation Delivers Aid to Fight Southern Floods, Distributes Essential Supplies to Victims

The "Poh Teck Tung Foundation" channels compassion to combat the massive southern floods by dispatching a large shipment of essential goods for rapid distribution to flood victims, helping to ease hardship in Songkhla and Phatthalung provinces.

On 4 Dec 2025 GMT+7, the Poh Teck Tung Foundation, led by Chairman Wichian Techapiboon and the board, concerned about flood victims across several southern provinces, assigned General Manager Aran Tothuat to urgently deploy disaster relief and social welfare teams. They loaded donated essential supplies onto trailers and foundation trucks, departing from the Poh Teck Tung Foundation in Plabplachai toward the south to deliver aid immediately. Local associations and foundations in each province coordinated and assisted in distribution.

Today (4 Dec), Ratchaporn Prasongsap, Head of the Disaster Relief Department, led teams from Education and Career Promotion, Disaster Relief, Social Welfare, and Disaster Relief Operations (Poh Teck Tung Caravan Line 2). They loaded trailers and foundation trucks and went to Phatthalung province to distribute 1,000 sets of essential supplies to flood victims in Lam Pam and Chai Buri subdistricts of Mueang District, and Phanang Tung subdistrict of Khuan Khanun District. These coastal areas remain affected by flooding. Phatthalung Charity Foundation (Song Tek Siang Tung) coordinated and assisted in distribution, alongside rescue staff and volunteers from Jung Hua Municipal School in Phatthalung packing relief bags.

In Songkhla province, Siriporn Krajangla, Social Welfare Manager, led social welfare and disaster relief teams (Poh Teck Tung Caravan Line 1). Since Sunday, 30 Nov 2025 GMT+7, they have transported essential goods on four trailers to distribute over 2,900 sets to flood victims in Hat Yai, Ban Rai, Khuan Lang, and Ranot subdistricts of Songkhla.

Currently, both Poh Teck Tung Caravan lines continue distributing essential supplies to flood victims in southern Thailand while monitoring the flood situation closely to assess needs and provide further assistance.
