Crowds Flock to Buy Lottery Tickets from Mae Yenjit After She Picks Winning Number That Brought Uncle Jae 18 Million Baht Luck

Crowds filled the stall, flocking to buy lottery tickets from "Mae Yenjit," a lottery vendor from Ban Piang, San Pa Tong District, Chiang Mai, after she picked the first prize winning ticket that brought Uncle Jae 18 million baht in luck. She confirmed that the rumor she received 1 million baht in return is not true.

On 6 Dec 2025 GMT+7, a reporter reported that throughout 5-6 Dec 2025 GMT+7, the government lottery stall set up in front of Mae Yenjit's grocery store in Ban Piang, 76-year-old resident of Village 13, Ban Mae Subdistrict, San Pa Tong District, Chiang Mai, was lively from early morning, filled with customers selecting lottery tickets for the 16 Dec 2025 draw, as well as buying groceries and other daily necessities.

Mae Yenjit explained that the reason many people came to buy lottery tickets from her was due to local rumors about "Uncle Jae," or Mr. Suton, a 68-year-old Ban Piang resident who won the first prize with ticket number 641252, holding three tickets and receiving 18 million baht from the 1 Dec 2025 draw, having purchased the tickets from Mae Yenjit's stall stock.

She added that Uncle Jae is a regular lottery customer and also buys rice and coffee from her shop daily. After his good fortune winning the first prize, Uncle Jae has distributed money to relatives and children, initially paying out 7 million baht, with several relatives still awaiting their share.

Regarding the claim that Uncle Jae gave Mae Yenjit a 1 million baht reward for bringing him luck, she said this is untrue; she did not receive a single baht. She only received 60 baht owed for lottery tickets and money for one box of beer she bought to treat those who came to congratulate, totaling 900 baht.

Neighbor Thanaphat said that Mae Yenjit's stall was extremely busy today, with a lively atmosphere from early morning as Ban Piang residents came to support her. Originally, Mae Yenjit intended to open just one stall, but due to kindness and mutual support within the community, sales surged so much that more than a dozen stalls were added, turning "one stall into a full row of stalls" beautifully.

Today, it is not just an ordinary lottery stall but a true reflection of the kindness and warmth of Ban Piang people. Both buyers and sellers were full of smiles and good atmosphere all morning. Even though Mae Yenjit may not always make a profit or bring luck to others every day, one thing that never fades is her kindness and good character, always selling with a smile regardless of how tired she is.

Because of this sincere nature, the community sympathizes with her. This morning, everyone helped by buying tickets and supporting her a little as they passed by, giving encouragement to Mae Yenjit, who has always stood by the community. Today is not just about buying lottery tickets but passing on encouragement and warmth from Ban Piang people. The atmosphere is filled with love, compassion, and Mae Yenjit's smile that made this morning beautiful. Moreover, Mae Yenjit has always been kind-hearted and generous to the poor.
