
An accident near the Purple Line MRT Bang Rak Noi Tha It station involved a brand-new Lamborghini Huracan supercar, valued at no less than 20 million baht. The vehicle lost control, hit the median strip, then crashed into a roadside electric pole, breaking one pole. The driver and passenger sustained only minor injuries. Bang Sri Muang police took them to the station.
At 01:30 on 8 December 2025 GMT+7, Bang Sri Muang police received a report of a supercar crashing into an electric pole near Bang Rak Noi Tha It MRT station on Rattanathibet Road heading toward Bang Yai in Bang Rak Noi Subdistrict, Mueang Nonthaburi District.
At the scene near Bang Rak Noi MRT station before the left turn onto Ratchaphruek Road, a gray Lamborghini Huracan with a red license plate ฆ 1043 Bangkok was found with severe front-end damage. One roadside electric pole was broken. The driver, a man about 45-50 years old, and a female passenger about 30-35 years old, both suffered only minor injuries. Police took them to the station.
Investigations found that the supercar lost control at the scene, hitting the median strip that separates the expressway lane from the parallel lane, before crashing into and breaking an electric pole.
Subsequently, Nonthaburi Metropolitan Electricity Authority officials arrived to cut the power and inspect the damage before arranging to tow the vehicle and clean the road surface.
The involved vehicle is a Lamborghini Huracan LP 640-2 with a red license plate, estimated to be worth approximately 25-30 million baht.
