
Cambodia attacked "Chong Bok - Chong An Ma," sending over 80 drone sorties to Hill 677, firing BM 21 rockets at Phu Ma Kuea, and using its command base on Phu Phra Viharn Mountain to deploy tanks and weapons aimed directly at the Twin Stupas and Huai Tamaria areas.
On 10 December 2025, the Operations Center of the 2nd Army Region summarized the situation along the Thai-Cambodian border as of 09:00. Following border clashes, the center reported the following key developments.
During the past night, Cambodian forces launched a concentrated attack on Chong Bok and Chong An Ma in Nam Yuen District, Ubon Ratchathani Province, especially targeting Hill 677 with over 80 drone sorties. They used BM 21 rockets to assault Phu Ma Kuea and deployed tanks and direct-fire weapons from positions on Phu Phra Viharn Mountain against Thai forces at the Twin Stupas and Huai Tamaria in Kantharalak District, Sisaket Province.
Thai forces destroyed enemy anti-drone positions south of Chong Chom to support clearance operations near the mango orchard encroaching into Thai territory at Chong Ray. Cambodian forces fired BM 21 rockets heavily around Prasat Khna, disregarding the presence of their own forces resisting Thai control in the area.
Currently, there are a total of 696 temporary shelters housing 171,681 evacuees: 29,865 in Ubon Ratchathani, 72,907 in Sisaket, 62,846 in Surin, and 6,063 in Buriram provinces.
Seventy-five temporary shelters have been established for vulnerable groups, accommodating 4,350 people: 170 in Ubon Ratchathani, 177 in Sisaket, 3,594 in Surin, and 509 in Buriram provinces.
The 2nd Army Region organized music shows, open-air movie screenings, and recreational activities for children such as sports competitions, house ball games, coloring contests, and play corners to help alleviate stress and boost morale among the affected communities.
