Five Main Frontlines Opened Along Sa Kaeo Border Area Amid Periodic Clashes

The 1st Army Region has identified five main frontlines along the Thai-Cambodian border in Sa Kaeo Province, noting periodic clashes but no reported casualties.

At 12:50 p.m. on 10 December 2025 GMT+7, the latest situation at the Thai-Cambodian border was reported by the 1st Army Region's Facebook page. At 12:00 p.m., the army announced the opening of five main frontlines as follows.

  • At Ban Khlong Phaeng in Ta Phraya district, intermittent clashes have occurred involving artillery and mortars. The area is under control, with efforts underway to reinforce security and establish defensive positions.
  • At Ban Nong Ya Kaeo in Khok Sung district, intermittent clashes continue involving artillery and mortars. The area remains under control with established defensive positions.
  • At Ban Nong Chan in Khok Sung district, intermittent clashes have occurred involving artillery and mortars.
  • At Ban Khlong Luek in Aranyaprathet district, minor clashes have been observed with ongoing vigilance.
  • In Khlong Hat district, three Cambodian armored vehicles were spotted in the area. Thai forces responded by firing artillery to intercept them.

However, there have been no reports of casualties across all five frontlines. The 1st Army Region remains steadfast in defending and reclaiming Thai sovereignty.

Meanwhile, Sa Kaeo Province has issued an urgent notice requesting the public temporarily avoid Route 348 between Kaew Phet Ploy and Chong Tako in Ta Phraya district, en route to Non Din Daeng district in Buriram Province, due to escalating border tensions since 9 December.
