"Cambodian soldiers" fired rifle grenades near a Stryker armored vehicle at the Bueng Takuan checkpoint, causing one Thai soldier to die and ten others to be injured.
The First Army Region launched an offensive operation by deploying infantry forces with 8x8 wheeled Stryker armored vehicles to take control of the area around the Bueng Takuan checkpoint, located opposite the Ban Ta Phraya trade relaxation point, following several days of ongoing tensions. Most recently, at 9:00 p.m. on 10 Dec 2025, reports confirmed that Cambodian forces fired rifle grenades near the Stryker armored vehicle at Bueng Takuan checkpoint in Ta Phraya District. Initially, ten people were wounded, including one in critical condition. The injured were taken to Ta Phraya Hospital. Further updates will be provided as they become available.
