Update on the Thai-Cambodian border situation: On the afternoon of 11 Dec 2025 GMT+7, Task Force 112 Ta Phraya, together with the Ta Phraya District Defense Clerk, deployed soldiers and local volunteer officials to arrest more than 30 illegal Cambodian workers—comprising 16 men, 14 women, and 4 children—at Ban Khao Luk Chang, Village 14, Ta Phraya Subdistrict.
All the detained workers were sent to Lieutenant Colonel Wutthanun Namsaeng, Deputy Investigation Chief at Ta Phraya Police Station, for interrogation. It was confirmed that none had any work permits. One detainee, Mr. Cheng Yen, admitted they had illegally entered to work planting cassava. The workers were then held for processing and will be deported.
