Trat Marine Task Force (Task Force Ny. Trat) of the Royal Thai Navy destroyed Cambodia's Battalion 556 headquarters late at night, resulting in over 10 Cambodian soldiers being injured.
Regarding the Thai-Cambodian border situation, on 11 Dec 2025, a reporter from the Navy reported that at 22:30 on 10 Dec, the Trat Marine Task Force (Task Force Ny. Trat) destroyed a Cambodian military target at the headquarters of Cambodian Battalion 556 (Battalion HQ 556). They used bomb-dropping drones to destroy the power generator and the Battalion headquarters, causing more than 10 Cambodian soldiers to be wounded.
Cambodia's Battalion 556 serves as a troop assembly point and arms depot, especially for drones. The Thai side used drones equipped with homemade explosives called “Pig Hunter K.81” bombs in three sizes: K.81, K.60, and K.120, which can accurately and effectively destroy enemy bases. Importantly, these are cheaper than foreign-made munitions and can be produced by Thai personnel. Currently, the Commander of the Southern Border Patrol Command has ordered sufficient production to destroy Cambodian military strongholds.
