The Second Army Region confirms that in the clashes along the Thailand-Cambodia border, no area has raised white flags. Fighting and counterattacks continue.
On 12 Dec 2025 GMT+7, the Facebook pageof the Second Army Regionposted a statement saying, "Regarding the circulation of images showing white flags raised in the Thailand-Cambodia border area, identified as the Phra Viharn frontline on social media, verification in that area confirms that fighting and counterattacks are ongoing. Furthermore, there have been no talks or negotiations with the Cambodian side whatsoever."
They urged the public to exercise discretion when receiving news and to rely on information from government agencies, the Joint Information Center on the Thailand-Cambodia situation, and the official page of the Second Army Region."
