Rescue personnel transported 8 Thai national athletes. They were suffering from nausea and diarrhea. After returning from the SEA Games, they were admitted to the hospital, with efforts underway to determine the cause.
At 18:00 on 12 Dec 2025 GMT+7, the Chaiyaphum Thrikuntham Rescue team assisted Thai SEA Games athletes returning from competition as they were about to enter their accommodation in Nong Mai Daeng Subdistrict, Mueang District, Chonburi Province.
Suddenly, 8 Thai SEA Games athletes—2 women and 6 men—experienced nausea, dizziness, and some had diarrhea. The Chaiyaphum Thrikuntham Rescue team promptly took all 8 athletes to Chonburi Hospital for treatment and continued investigating the cause of their symptoms.
