The deputy spokesperson of the Royal Thai Army revealed that Thai soldiers have temporarily left the “Prasat Khao” area and are preparing to retake the position after Cambodia launched heavy attacks.
At 13:55 on 13 Dec 2025 GMT+7, Lieutenant Colonel Richja Suksuwanont, deputy spokesperson of the Royal Thai Army, clarified the latest updates on the Prasat Khao area in Surin Province, amid conflicting reports, stating that it had been reported that Thai forces had secured 100% control of Prasat Khao.
It turned out that after this, Cambodian forces launched heavy weapon attacks on the area, prompting Thai forces to adjust their deployment by temporarily withdrawing and preparing to retake the area.
