Injured Private Evacuated by Helicopter from Hill 677 Clash for Urgent Hospital Treatment

Officials rushed to evacuate an injured private from the clash at Hill 677, Chong An Ma, by helicopter for urgent treatment at Sanpasitthiprasong Hospital.

On 13 Dec 2025 GMT+7, reporters reported that the clash situation along the Thai-Cambodian border at Hill 677, Chong An Ma, Ubon Ratchathani province, remains tense and violent since morning, as Cambodian forces attempt to seize control of Hill 677.

In the afternoon, reports confirmed that Thai soldiers were hit by shrapnel from explosions, resulting in four fatalities. The deceased were identified as Sergeant Major Damrongkiat Kaewkrajang, Sergeant Major Tawirat Rattanaburi, Private Mustakim Jema, and another private.


Additionally, five soldiers were injured: Private Chokchai Niamsaeng, Staff Sergeant Naphan Jandadang, Private Kalit Mudkahlem, Private Usman Hali, and one unidentified soldier. Senior officers were urgently evacuating the wounded from the front lines.

At 13:57, doctors arranged for Private Kalit Mudkahlem to be airlifted by Bell 212 helicopter from the temporary landing zone at Tambon Klang Subdistrict Administrative Organization to the military base helicopter field at Infantry Battalion 22. He was then transferred to an ambulance waiting to take him to Sanpasitthiprasong Hospital, the provincial hospital, for urgent care.
