Recently, the Facebook pagePublic Relations Office of Narathiwat Provinceposted a tribute to one of the fallen soldiers, a son of Narathiwat, stating that Volunteer Mustakim Majema, age 21, anti-tank weapon gunner of the Assault Battalion, sacrificed his life protecting Thai sovereignty during combat at Hill 677, Chong An Ma, Nam Yuen district, Ubon Ratchathani province.

Volunteer Mustakim Majema was born on 3 May 2004 and enlisted on 1 Nov 2023 as an anti-tank weapon gunner in the Assault Battalion. He was from Dusongyo subdistrict, Chanae district, Narathiwat province. Mustakim came from a true military lineage, with his mother serving as a female soldier currently stationed in Saraburi province. He deeply loved and worried about his mother. His reason for enlisting was to serve the nation and to help ease his mother's burden.

The funeral for Volunteer Mustakim Majema is scheduled at Kubosabuerang (Ban Sukha), Moo 3, Dusongyo subdistrict, Chanae district, Narathiwat province.
