Subsequently, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Anutin Charnvirakul stated that no discussions on this matter have occurred yet and urged the public to listen to information provided twice daily by the military. He cautioned against relying on other sources as justification and added that any acceptance or actions require prior sincere and clear discussion about stopping clashes and harm between the parties.
Reporters described the atmosphere at various locations, noting that in Phanom Dong Rak district, Surin province, after 10:01 PM, there were no sounds of artillery, explosions, or small arms fire from either side responding to each other. The fighting had quieted since after 9 PM, and observers remain attentive to whether either side will resume fire.
Meanwhile, at Chong An Ma in Ubon Ratchathani, after Thai troops secured Hill 677 and Hill 500 in the area, fighting was still occurring intermittently after 10 PM but less frequently than before.
At 10:30 PM, reports emerged of kamikaze drones on the front lines in Trat province. Authorities urged residents to turn off their house lights and to immediately seek shelter if low-flying unmanned aerial vehicles are spotted.
