Cambodia Launches BM-21 Rocket Attacks on Residential Homes in Sisaket Province, Resulting in One Civilian Death

The "Cambodian side" launched a concentrated BM-21 rocket attack on residential homes in Sisaket Province, initially resulting in one civilian death, believed to be caused by shrapnel from the explosion. Additionally, a house was completely damaged by fire.

At 11:50 a.m. on 14 Dec 2025 GMT+7, reports confirmed multiple BM-21 rocket barrages struck Kantharalak District in Sisaket Province, leading to one fatality and damage to several civilian homes.

Investigations identified the deceased as Dr. Patchapan, 63, a farmer by profession. Preliminary assessments indicate he died from shrapnel injuries.

Furthermore, the same incident caused a fire that destroyed one civilian home due to the BM-21 explosion. The damaged house belonged to Mr. Dam Kulsiri and was completely burnt down.

Meanwhile, several nearby civilian homes also sustained shrapnel damage but remain inaccessible for inspection because clashes continue in the area.

However, the initial fire incident caused no injuries, as residents had evacuated the area beforehand. Fire trucks have been coordinated to control the situation.
