Tribute to the 16th brave soldier "Corporal Apisit Bunnak" A military nurse who sacrificed his life on the battlefield at Phu Makhuea to defend Thailand
On 14 Dec 2025 GMT+7, reporters reported that during a clash along the Thai-Cambodian border, Cambodian forces fired BM-21 rockets into a bunker, causing Corporal Apisit Bunnak, a military nurse sergeant of the 16th Regiment, 3rd Battalion, Thai Army, to die in action at Phu Makhuea battlefield, Kantharalak District, Si Sa Ket Province.
He is the 16th soldier to have died in the line of duty defending Thailand's sovereignty.
