The sound of artillery echoed throughout the border villages. Some residents have evacuated, while others have chosen to stay and guard their homes and belongings. Authorities have strictly prohibited unauthorized persons from entering the area to prevent espionage and ensure safety.
Villagers expressed their desire for authorities to resolve the conflict promptly and expressed relief that nearly all land encroached upon by Cambodia has been reclaimed. Today, artillery fire was heard since early morning, with daily occurrences typically in the early morning, afternoon, and evening. Nearly 100% of residents in the high-risk areas of the two districts have evacuated, leaving only village leaders and village security volunteers (Chor Ror Bor) behind. Strict rules prohibit unauthorized persons from entering the area to prevent spies and ensure safety.
