Currently, barbed wire and obstacle systems have been installed, and troop deployments adjusted to strengthen the position. The mission continues as scheduled.
Phamoei Daeng – Huai Tamaria areas: Sporadic clashes occurred involving small arms, grenade launchers, tanks, and bomb-dropping drones. Our forces detected several Cambodian supply vehicles entering the area, responding with supporting fire using grenade launchers and artillery, successfully destroying targets as the situation permitted.
Chong Chom – Chong Pero – Chong Rayi areas: Cambodian forces fired BM-21 rockets into these zones. Our personnel remain safe and have responded with artillery fire as the situation demanded.
Kana area: Our forces have secured and control the area. However, Cambodian forces continue to conduct reconnaissance flights with drones and apply pressure with artillery and BM-21 rocket fire intermittently. Our troops remain safe.
Chong Sai Taku area: Both sides maintain positions along the front. The clashes caused fires at military installations, a bomb-dropping drone warehouse, and a scammer base, posing security threats to the border region.
Ta Kwai - Hill 350 area: Clashes occurred near the Ta Kwai temple due to opposing forces attempting to advance. Our forces followed operational plans and used appropriate force to halt and control the situation, including supportive fire to secure the area, control routes, and prevent reinforcement and enemy artillery support. Operations continue under close command and control to maintain area security and troop safety.
The 2nd Army Command expresses deepest condolences for the loss of personnel in the line of duty: Sergeant Major Samrerng Khlangprakorn and Private Phanupat Sorsa, who served with sacrifice and bravery.
