Tragic Loss: Private Wasan Khanhuathon Becomes 21st Fallen Soldier in Sam Tae Battlefield

The Royal Thai Army has lost its 21st brave soldier who died in action. Private Wasan Khanhuathon died while performing his duty protecting the nation's sovereignty in the Sam Tae battlefield.


On 17 Dec 2025 GMT+7, the Royal Thai Army's Facebook pageRoyal Thai Armyposted a message paying tribute to the brave soldiers. The Royal Thai Army honors those who died defending national sovereignty and commits to providing the best care for their rights and welfare.

18. Sergeant Major Samrerng Klangprakorn, assigned to the 3rd Infantry Battalion, 23rd Infantry Regiment, died in the battle at Hill 350, Prasat Ta Kwai, on 16 Dec 2025 GMT+7.

19. Private Phanupat Saosa, assigned to the 3rd Infantry Battalion, 23rd Infantry Regiment, died in the battle at Hill 350, Prasat Ta Kwai, on 16 Dec 2025 GMT+7.

20. Sergeant Major Phonsak Iamsaad, assigned to the 1st Infantry Battalion, 2nd Infantry Regiment, King's Guard, died in the battle at Ban Nong Jan, on 17 Dec 2025 GMT+7.

21. Private Wasan Khanhuathon, assigned to the 3rd Infantry Battalion, 13th Infantry Regiment, died in the battle at Sam Tae on 17 Dec 2025 GMT+7.
