At 17:00 on 17 Dec 2025 GMT+7, Pol. Maj. Gen. Phongphan Wongmaneethat, Commander of Chonburi Provincial Police, visited Nong Yai Police Station to receive updates on the arrests of the Cambodian youths and participated in questioning for about an hour.
Afterwards, Pol. Maj. Gen. Phongphan Wongmaneethat said the investigation is ongoing to determine the reasons behind posting the video. Authorities are tracking down the remaining suspects to prosecute them all. The three arrested were charged with possessing imitation firearms and explosives. They include the motorcycle rider, the person who threw the bomb, and another group member. Police are working to complete the process as quickly as possible.
There are multiple possible motives, which are under investigation. Regarding the social media uproar, police recognize public awareness and are working diligently. The Royal Thai Police Commander has instructed them to expedite the arrests of all involved to bring them to justice quickly.
At Nong Yai Police Station, a group including Tae Achiva arrived and said that the Cambodian youths who threw the bombs challenged him to a confrontation. "We came to pursue them, and today I wanted to see their faces before the police arrested them. Since the police arrested them first, I came to observe the next steps and how the case will be handled because their behavior is very provocative. They carried knives and bombs, posing significant danger to the community."
