Areas of Chong Krang, Ta Muean, Ta Kwai near Hill 350: Continuous fighting is ongoing. Our forces have launched heavy fire, preventing more than 160 Cambodian reinforcements from entering. The original Cambodian troops are exhausted, lacking water, and reportedly may not hold out, requesting immediate fire support from higher command. Some positions have been ordered to withdraw downhill, weakening their resistance. Cambodian tank units have been ordered not to move without orders, possibly to use for covering withdrawing forces.
The 3rd Task Force of the Suranaree Command, together with Phu Sing Police Station in Si Sa Ket province, sealed off and searched the community at the Muang Mai Chong Sang market area. This followed a district order for residents to evacuate to temporary shelters. Some residents, including Cambodians, remained, so authorities searched a warehouse in Phrai Phatthana subdistrict, Phu Sing district. Thai man and Cambodian wife owned the property. The search uncovered 11,031,150 baht in cash and 33 gold items. The owner claimed the money came from trading goods in the Muang Mai Chong Sang market. Officials seized the money for investigation and requested trade documentation.
