Army Denies Targeting Casino and Scammer Buildings Without Cause, Confirms Military Bases Identified

The Army denies deliberately targeting "casino and scammer buildings" and confirms that every area attacked has been clearly verified as a military operations base, especially "drone command posts" and weapon depots used to attack Thailand.

On 18 Dec 2025 GMT+7, Colonel Ritcha Suksuwanont, Deputy Army Spokesperson, explained regarding the recent attacks on casino and scammer targets during military operations. He confirmed that all targets attacked by Thailand's armed forces are strictly military targets, including combat forces, military equipment, and weapons. The attacks are not focused solely on casinos and scammers, because every target has been clearly verified as a military operations base. Commonly found are drone command centers where drones are launched to attack, as well as weapon depots.

When such sites are detected, the army attacks them with available weapons, including support from the Air Force. This does not mean the Army neglects addressing the scammer problem, as other agencies handle that issue. Border defense forces collaborate with all relevant officials to manage and resolve border crossing problems.

He emphasized that all targets attacked, whether casinos or scammer locations, have been verified as Cambodian military operations against Thailand. Locations not yet attacked have not been verified or detected as military operation sites.
