Bustling with the cool breeze, tourists flock to admire the beauty of tulip fields and flowers at the “Charm of Chiang Mai, City of Beautiful Flowers” event held at the Chiang Mai Provincial Administrative Organization Park from 28 Nov 2025 to 4 Jan 2026 GMT+7.
As the year-end festival approaches, Chiang Mai is a popular destination for many tourists. This year, the Chiang Mai Provincial Administrative Organization Park is hosting the “Charm of Chiang Mai, City of Beautiful Flowers 2025” event from 28 November 2025 to 4 January 2026 GMT+7. Under the theme “THE WORLD HERITAGE OF LANNA – The Charm of Lanna, World Heritage City,” the festival blends Lanna art with winter flowers, along with regular nightly light, color, and musical fountain shows, attracting a large number of visitors.
Beyond the beauty of the winter flowers, the highlight is the field of over 30,000 tulips, open for visitors to enjoy both day and night.
Mr. Pichai Lertpongadisorn, Chief Executive of the Chiang Mai Provincial Administrative Organization, revealed that since the event opened to the public on 28 November, over 2 million visitors have toured the park. The organization has continuously refreshed the displays by introducing new flower arrangements to maintain freshness.
It is expected that during the extended New Year holidays in 2026, visitor numbers will increase further. Officials are confident that total attendance for this event will approach nearly ten million people, boosting tourism and stimulating Chiang Mai's economy. After the event concludes in early 2026, the opening period may be extended if there is strong interest and positive response.
