Raid on House of Cambodian Resident Formerly Living in Ban Nong Chan Uncovers Evidence Linked to Scammer Network

The Burapha Task Force raided houses of Cambodians who previously lived in Ban Nong Chan and found several houses converted into workplaces. They discovered evidence linking them to a scammer network and seized 19 mobile phones and over 63 bank passbooks.

On 19 Dec 2025 GMT+7, the Facebook page "First Army Area" reported that on 18 Dec 2025 GMT+7, the Burapha Task Force raided houses where Cambodians had lived in Ban Nong Chan and had fled following a clash. Many houses were converted into workplaces with communication connections resembling call center operations.

Preliminary checks found many items, suggesting the entire Ban Nong Chan village is involved with a scammer network. Important items included 19 phones, 2 laptops, 4 notebooks, 63 bank passbooks under Thai names, 3 Thai ID cards suspected of being used to open mule accounts, and 10 seized ATM cards.

The evidence was handed over to police for further examination to expand the investigation into networks linked to the scammer operations in Cambodia, which pose a security threat to Thailand.
