On 19 Dec 2025 GMT+7, reporters reported that the Eastern Force, through the Taphraya task force, deployed personnel to feed and care for pets of residents evacuated from high-risk areas in Taphraya District, Sa Kaeo Province, due to unrest along the border.
This mission aligns with humanitarian and public aid policies to alleviate hardship and reassure villagers forced to temporarily leave their homes and pets behind. Personnel visited various villages to assess the conditions of the animals and provided food and water to livestock including cattle, buffaloes, pigs, dogs, and other pets comprehensively.
The Eastern Force emphasized that it will continue monitoring and caring for the pets of evacuated residents while maintaining security in the area, ensuring that people can safely return home once the situation stabilizes.
