Dr. Warong visited Surin province to wave the flag in honor of Sgt. Reng's body and offered encouragement to frontline soldiers and evacuees at the shelter center. He called on responsible agencies to fully implement the government's rear-guard protection plan to care for the people.
On 21 Dec 2025 GMT+7, Dr. Warong Dechgitvigrom, leader of the Thai Pakdee Party, traveled to Surin province to support soldiers and evacuees at a shelter center. He also participated in waving the Thai national flag along the route transporting Sgt. Maj. Samreng Klangprakorn's body from Veerawatyothin Camp Hospital via Surin-Prasat Road to his hometown in Prakhon Chai district, Buriram province, at Wat Huai Po, to pay the highest honor to the brave soldier who sacrificed his life for Thailand.
Dr. Warong said this visit allowed him to observe progress on the bunker construction, funded by the Thai Rak Dee Foundation with one bunker donated before the Election Commission announced the election date. Construction has advanced significantly, and he hopes it will benefit soldiers defending the nation's sovereignty, as fighting in the area continues. The Thai Pakdee Party supports the military's approach and encourages troops risking their lives, opposing certain political parties that attempt to undermine the military.
Dr. Warong also visited evacuees still residing at the shelter center. Previously, a kitchen was opened there to prepare food for both the evacuees and frontline soldiers, but this had to be suspended to comply with election laws.
He found that the evacuees remain in good spirits and support the military's operations. He urged responsible agencies to fully care for these people according to the government's rear-guard protection plan, as they are the most affected and sacrificed group amid the ongoing situation.
