The Eastern Task Force destroyed two buildings used by a scam gang on the Poipet side after discovering Cambodia was using them as sniper posts firing into Aranyaprathet district in Thailand. No further shots have been detected, and the scam gang has all fled.
On 22 Dec 2025 GMT+7 at 13:48, reporters reported that the Eastern Task Force carried out an operation to destroy two target buildings on the Poipet side, opposite Tha Kham subdistrict, Aranyaprathet district. Relevant agencies confirmed that these buildings were used by a scam network, and the Cambodian side used them as sniper posts firing into Aranyaprathet district.
It was also confirmed that anti-drone systems were installed inside the buildings. After the attack, the buildings were damaged, and no return fire came from Cambodia. Additionally, the scam network fled from the buildings.
