Army Helicopter Loses Control, Makes Emergency Landing in Surin Province Three Soldiers Injured

The 2nd Army Region explained that an Army helicopter, model HT-212, lost control and made an emergency landing during a mission in Surin Province. Three soldiers were injured, and the cause is being investigated.

At 18:42, the Army spokesperson disclosed that today (22 December 2025) at 17:19, the Army received a report from the 2nd Army Region about an Army HT-212 helicopter losing control and making an emergency landing at Surin Phakdi Airport in Surin Province. Three personnel sustained minor injuries: Pilot Lt. Col. Suchart Nakjaroen, Mechanic Staff Sgt. Kittipong Chimthai, and Mechanic Staff Sgt. Akarin Jitrit. The injured have been admitted for treatment at Veerawatyothin Camp Hospital.
