On 23 Dec 2025 at 17:40, the First Army Area Operations Center reported that at around 14:00, Eastern Forces carried out attacks on two Cambodian military targets in Poipet, destroying buildings used as operational bases and ammunition storage with no civilians residing in them.
1. The "International Center Call Center" building, originally a transit location gathering cross-border individuals before they were sent to work as scammers in the area, was converted by the Cambodian side into a military operational base located about 2 km from the permanent border crossing at Ban Nong Ien, Tha Kham Subdistrict, Aranyaprathet District.
2. The building opposite Wat Wang Mon, Tha Kham Subdistrict, Aranyaprathet District, originally used for scammer bookkeeping, was converted into a Cambodian weapons and ammunition storage site, with sniper activity detected. This is the building that was destroyed yesterday.
During the operation, it was confirmed that no civilians were inside the targeted buildings. The buildings were heavily damaged, reducing Cambodian military operational capabilities against our forces.
