Commander of the Eastern Border Defense Inspects Frontline in Trat, Visits Troops After Recapturing Two Thai Territories

The Commander of the Eastern Border Defense in Chanthaburi and Trat inspected the frontline in Trat province, visiting and boosting the morale of troops after the "Trat Pacification" operation successfully reclaimed two Thai territories at Tha Sen Village and Nong Ri Village, with the Marine soldiers still highly motivated to defend sovereignty at all costs.

On 26 December 2025, Vice Admiral Apichat Supprasert, Commander of the Eastern Border Defense in Chanthaburi and Trat, personally inspected the frontline and visited the Marine Task Force in Trat following the "Trat Pacification" operation, which successfully regained control of two Thai territories: Tha Sen Village (Tomoda Casino area) and Nong Ri Village (Ban Sam Lang).

During this inspection, the commander supervised and directed troop deployments, planned the organization of the area, and enhanced the security of defensive strongholds. He established a strict defense system for both areas to prepare for any counterattacks from opposing forces, as well as arranged facilities and closely attended to troop morale.

The morale of the Marine troops is excellent, and they remain highly motivated to carry out their duties to protect the nation's sovereignty to the utmost, following the Marine Corps motto: "When fighting, victory is a must."
