Developments on the Thailand-Cambodia border on 28 Dec 2025 GMT+7: reporters stated that today, Gen. Chaiyapruk Duangprapat, Chief of Army Staff, along with Lt. Gen. Weerayut Raksin, Commander of the 2nd Army Region, and their team inspected the terrain at Hill 350 and Ta Kwai Castle in Surin Province. They confirmed complete control over the Thai sovereign area, with the tricolor flag waving proudly over Thai soil.
The Chief of Army Staff also delivered a message on behalf of all frontline Thai soldiers to the nation's people, stating: "The ground we step on, the land we stand upon, will belong to our descendants forever."
