Traffic on Mittraphap Road in Nakhon Ratchasima Increases, Expected to Rise Further Tonight

The travel atmosphere during the New Year period on Mittraphap Road in Nakhon Ratchasima Province saw increasing vehicle numbers from the afternoon. It is expected that more travelers will be on the road tonight, with officials deployed to assist traffic flow.

On 29 Dec 2025, reporters reported that during the year-end and New Year festival period this afternoon, traffic on Mittraphap Road, Highway No. 2, in the districts of Chaloem Phra Kiat, Non Sung, and Khong in Nakhon Ratchasima Province, has steadily increased at intersections and junctions along the road. Officials from Nakhon Ratchasima Highway District 2, the Khae Subdistrict Municipality, and Non Sung Police Station have placed traffic cones at various intersections and at turns leading into gas stations to facilitate public convenience 24 hours a day. Additionally, traffic police rapid response teams patrol to monitor traffic conditions and vehicles broken down on Mittraphap Road to address congestion issues.

It is expected that vehicle volume will rise again this evening and night as people gradually return to their hometowns in the northeastern region to prepare for New Year celebrations with their families.
