The 2nd Army Commander visited 19 Thai soldiers injured in a border clash who are receiving treatment at hospitals in Surin Province. He inquired about their health and offered encouragement, stressing that the troops will not be abandoned and will receive full care regarding their rights and welfare.

On 30 December 2025 GMT+7, Lieutenant General Weerayuth Raksin, the 2nd Army Commander, visited and encouraged soldiers injured in a clash at the Thai-Cambodian border, currently being treated at Weerawatyothin Camp Hospital and Surin Hospital, totaling 19 soldiers.

During this visit, the 2nd Army Commander closely checked on the soldiers' conditions and offered encouragement to the injured troops as well as their families, aiming to boost morale during their recovery period when they cannot spend the New Year holiday with their families as usual.

Lieutenant General Weerayuth Raksin expressed concern for the injured soldiers’ conditions and emphasized that the 2nd Army and commanders at all levels have never abandoned their troops. They are committed to providing full support in medical treatment, rights, and welfare for the soldiers and their families.

Additionally, the 2nd Army Commander extended New Year wishes, hoping all soldiers recover quickly and maintain strong physical and mental health.

This visit to encourage the troops reflects the 2nd Army’s care, close bonds, and family-like support for soldiers who sacrifice and serve to maintain peace and security along the national borders for the country and its people.
