
The Army has provided funds and is preparing to repair the home of Private Narin's family after he stepped on a PMN-2 anti-personnel mine and lost his leg while patrolling in the Khao Sattasom area.
On 31 December 2025 GMT+7, Major General Pongkrit Rachiyothin, Commander of the 21st Military Circle, Mr. Siwasak Sintoram, District Chief of Phimai, along with various government agencies and private sector representatives from Phimai District, Nakhon Ratchasima Province, delivered money and essential supplies to the family of 25-year-old Private Narin Ngaoprai, assigned to the 3rd Battalion, 2nd Regiment, Ya Mo Battalion.
After Private Narin Ngaoprai stepped on a PMN-2 anti-personnel mine during a patrol in the Khao Sattasom area of Sisaket Province, he suffered severe injuries, losing his right leg. The military unit immediately provided assistance and airlifted the wounded soldier by helicopter to Surin Hospital for treatment. His condition has since stabilized.
Meanwhile, military units, government agencies, and private organizations have contributed funds to support Private Narin's family and are preparing to repair their home. Private Narin, the family's only son, comes from a poor background and voluntarily enlisted in the military, representing a significant sacrifice for the nation.
