New Years Eve Shock: Mother Nursing 3-Year-Old Frightened as Bullet Pierces Roof Near Child

A man was startled on New Year's Eve when his wife was nursing their child, and a bullet pierced through the roof just one foot from them. Fortunately, no one was injured.

At 00:10 on 1 January 2026, Mr. Wasin Hunkloy, the village headman of Village 4, Ban Rai Chao Nuea Subdistrict, Damnoen Saduak District, Ratchaburi Province, received a report from Mr. Mana Nakchai that a mysterious bullet had pierced through the roof near the bed in a bedroom. He went to inspect the scene accompanied by police officers.

The scene was a single-story house. Inside the bedroom on the bed, a .38 caliber bullet was found. It was collected and placed in a bag as evidence. The roof above was made of double-layer corrugated tiles with a single bullet hole.

From questioning Mr. Mana Nakchai, it was initially learned that before the incident, he was lying down while his wife was nursing their 3-year-old son. While the son was drinking milk, they heard a sound from the roof above, and debris fell nearby, about one foot from the child. Mr. Mana was very shocked and quickly went outside. He then called the village headman to come and inspect. At that time, he was unable to go back inside for fear of another object falling. Fortunately, no one was hurt. He also recorded a video of the incident.
