Update: PM 2.5 dust levels in Bangkok today have surged beyond standards to the orange level, beginning to affect health in 59 areas.


On 2 Jan 2026 GMT+7, the Bangkok Air Quality Information Center reported the PM 2.5 dust situation from Bangkok's air quality monitoring stations at 07:00 a.m. The 24-hour average PM 2.5 dust levels were measured.

The measurements ranged from 37.4 to 70.3 micrograms per cubic meter (µg/m³), exceeding the standard at the orange level, which indicates beginning health impacts (standard is no more than 37.5 µg/m³) across 59 areas, which are:
