"Je Ba Bin," a lottery vendor involved in the 30-million-baht lottery confusion, dropped a set of 5 lottery tickets while selling. A restaurant employee found the tickets and posted on Facebook to seek the owner before returning them. In the end, all five tickets won the two-digit prize, and she rewarded the employee as a token of thanks.
On 3 Jan 2026 CE, a Facebook user posted photos of a set of 5 lottery tickets along with CCTV footage, announcing a search for the lottery vendor who dropped the tickets inside Je Ruang Kaeng Pa restaurant in Kanchanaburi municipality on 27 Dec 2025 CE. The post aimed to find the vendor so she could reclaim her tickets. The video was widely shared and circulated.
It was later identified that the lottery vendor wearing a pink outfit in the video was Mrs. Rattanaporn Supathip, known as Je Ba Bin, the vendor involved in the famous 30-million-baht lottery confusion case from several years ago. Those who recognized her in the clip contacted her to retrieve the lost lottery tickets from the restaurant.
When the lottery results for 2 Jan 2026 CE were announced, the two-digit ending prize was number 16, matching the last two digits of the set of 5 tickets. This meant Je Ba Bin won 10,000 baht. She then visited Je Ruang Kaeng Pa restaurant to thank the staff who found and returned the tickets, giving 1,000 baht as a reward to Nong Mew, or Ms. Chatchanok Tidchaidee, 16, an employee and niece of the restaurant owner.
Nong Mew said the event in the video happened on the evening of 27 Dec 2025 CE. While delivering food to customers inside the restaurant, she found a set of 5 lottery tickets on the floor.
After asking customers nearby, she learned none owned the tickets. She decided to keep them and wrote down the date and time she found them. After closing the restaurant, she reviewed the CCTV footage and saw the tickets had fallen from a lottery vendor wearing pink walking through the restaurant. She posted the video on Facebook hoping the vendor would come to collect them. Eventually, someone contacted Je Ba Bin, who came to retrieve the tickets and later found out they had won over 10,000 baht in the two-digit prize.
Je Ba Bin expressed her gratitude to Nong Mew for being honest in finding and returning the tickets, saying this showed that good people still exist in Kanchanaburi province and Thailand. She decided to give Nong Mew 1,000 baht as a token of appreciation and promised to return to dine at the restaurant frequently.
