Patumthani Community Unites to Build New Home for Parents of Fallen Soldier Private Wayu

Honoring a hero's dream, Patumthani residents have contributed over 400,000 baht to build a new home for the parents. “Private Wayu” A brave soldier who sacrificed his life defending the nation, with construction ready to begin and finish within two months.

On 7 Jan 2026 GMT+7, reporters noted that Pol. Lt. Gen. Kamronwit Thoopkajang, President of the Patumthani Provincial Administrative Organization, along with Police Lt. Col. Dr. Trilup Thoopkajang, Mayor of Rangsit City, and the Patumthani PAO executive team, visited the site with construction contractors to present the new house plans and discuss with Mr. Prasit Kwansuea (father) and Ms. Yupin Thapthong (mother) of Private Wayu Kwansuea. Private Wayu was a heroic soldier of the 31st Infantry Regiment, 3rd Battalion, who sacrificed his life at the battle site of Hill 225, Prasat Ta Kwai, Surin Province. The PAO engineering team has completed the house design plans.

According to the blueprint details, the house is a single-story reinforced concrete residential building comprising a bedroom, kitchen, and sturdy living spaces on approximately 45 square wah. It is intended to replace the old home in line with Private Wayu's wishes and to honor the sacrifice of his family.

Pol. Lt. Gen. Kamronwit Thoopkajang, President of the Patumthani PAO, stated that initial donations have already exceeded 400,000 baht, with several supporters providing building materials. To ensure transparency and meet objectives, a dedicated bank account has been set up specifically for purchasing materials and paying construction labor.

Police Lt. Col. Dr. Trilup Thoopkajang, Mayor of Rangsit City, revealed that many local residents, shops, and companies in Patumthani Province have expressed their intention to donate construction materials, including doors, bathroom fixtures, and steel for building. He expressed deep gratitude to all parties involved.

Ms. Yupin Thapthong, Private Wayu’s mother, spoke with deep emotion, saying, "If my son could see this now, he would be very happy to see everyone helping fulfill his dream. Private Wayu loved his home and family dearly. I thank Pol. Lt. Gen. Kamronwit Thoopkajang, President of the Patumthani PAO, and all the people of Patumthani for standing by us and remembering my son's sacrifice. I believe he knows about the house being built for us because he once appeared to us before leaving, as if to say goodbye to his mother and family. I want to tell him not to worry and to rest in peace."

Construction will begin immediately and is expected to take about two months, aiming to be completed by 15 March 2026 GMT+7, which coincides with Private Wayu Kwansuea's birthday. This will allow the Kwansuea family to move into a new home that is a source of pride for Patumthani residents. Additionally, a merit-making ceremony will be held on 18 March 2026 GMT+7 to mark the 100th day since Private Wayu's passing.
