A trailer truck lost control and crashed into an electronic signpost on Highway 2 at km 36 (Klangdong), inbound to Bangkok, causing slow traffic movement.
At approximately 14:20 on 11 January 2026, the Highway Police Facebook page posted a traffic report stating that a trailer truck lost control and collided with an electronic signpost on Highway 2 at km 36, inbound to Bangkok.
The preliminary cause is suspected to be brake failure due to loss of air pressure, resulting in damage to government property.
Three people were injured: one man, one woman, and one child. Officials transported them to Muak Lek Hospital.
Currently, the accident blocks the far right and left lanes, leaving only the center lane open for traffic, causing slow traffic movement.
