OR is ready to comply with government policy to quickly compensate PTT Station dealers in the southern border area affected by bombings and expects to gradually resume services within 15 days.
On 13 Jan 2025 GMT+7, Mom Luang Peek Thong Thongyai, Chief Executive Officer of PTT Oil and Retail Business Public Company Limited, revealed that due to unrest in the three southern border provinces and Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul's priority on swiftly restoring businesses and normal life for residents, OR as the operator of the PTT Station brand is ready to follow this policy and has promptly undertaken the following actions.
OR will send engineers and various equipment from headquarters to urgently carry out repairs, expecting a phased reopening within 15 days until all stations are operational. Equipment and assets that OR lends to dealers at the stations, such as fuel dispensers, will be promptly replaced from headquarters at no cost.
For other damages, OR will act as a liaison with relevant agencies to quickly coordinate compensation for repair and restoration costs. For expenses not covered by insurance or government support, OR will implement assistance measures such as covering restoration costs, offering fuel purchase discounts, and providing additional supportive measures.
Nonetheless, OR expresses deep concern and sincere condolences over the incident and pledges to stand by and fully support recovery efforts to enable all PTT Stations to resume normal operations as soon as possible.
