On 14 January 2025, a reporter reported that at 07:39 a.m., the Department of Disaster Prevention and Mitigation (DDPM) sent a Cell Broadcast alert about PM 2.5 levels. It stated that at 07:00 a.m., measurements in Pathumwan district were 84.6 µg/m³, Sathorn district 79.3 µg/m³, and Chatuchak district 75.5 µg/m³, levels that impact health. The air quality is not expected to improve over the next 1-2 days. People are advised to wear masks to protect against dust and avoid outdoor activities. Those experiencing unusual symptoms should see a doctor, DDPM advised.
