A young businessman and neighbors in a luxury village golf course in Pathum Thani have endured golf balls falling onto their homes, damaging roofs and windows. An elderly mother must live in fear. Despite complaints to various agencies, the situation remains unchanged, causing ongoing distress.
On 19 Jan 2026 GMT+7, reporters received complaints from residents of a luxury village along Bangkok-Pathum Thani Road, Moo 8, Bang Khu Wat Subdistrict, Mueang District, Pathum Thani Province. The golf course inside the village has long caused trouble for residents, with no corrective actions taken. Despite repeated complaints to both government and private agencies, no attention has been given. Residents have now turned to the media to raise awareness and urge responsible authorities and the project owners to act.
Reporters then visited a house inside the village and met Mr. Rawin Chumkasian, 60, a businessman and homeowner whose house borders the golf course. He told reporters that he and several neighbors living adjacent to the golf course all suffer heavy disturbances. Golfers often hit balls that land on their homes, breaking windows and puncturing roofs. Sometimes, people stand around the houses, forcing residents to be cautious of golf balls potentially hitting their heads. His 90-year-old mother, who lives there, sleeps in fear because golf balls suddenly hit the roof as if someone was throwing objects at the house. Unable to stay, he has had to move his mother to live with relatives elsewhere.
Mr. Rawin added that at night, golfers and caddies create loud disturbances, especially those who are intoxicated and urinate near the fence beside the house, causing foul odors. Residents are also affected by spotlight beams used by golfers searching for balls. Despite multiple reports to golf course management, no attention has been given and the issues persist. They also submitted a letter to the Pathum Thani Provincial Damrongtham Center, but the matter remained silent. They filed a complaint with the Muang Pathum Thani Police Station, but no progress has been made. Today, he calls on the media to be a voice urging responsible agencies to inspect and address the suffering of the village residents.
If there are any updates or statements from the golf course, further reports will be provided.
